Dear Just X-Cart client,

As part of the move to our new Data Centre facility in Brisbane we will be performing regular Redundancy and Fail over testing to ensure that all aspects of our Network and connections to upstream providers are working correctly and that our Fail over procedures in the event of an outage or equipment failure are working correctly.

As such we will be performing the first of these tests this weekend on Saturday 3rd April at 10pm AEST (Brisbane Time).

The total duration required for the tests will be 1 hour, however there should be only 5 or 6 small outages of no more than a minute or 2 in duration during this time period.

These tests involve us deliberately taking down a piece of equipment e.g. a router to ensure the backup one takes over.

If we do however find an issue within the network or a fail over point during the tests do not perform as expected there could potentially be an outage of up to 15 minutes while the issue is resolved.
